The Bettmann Archives is a collection of over 18 million photographs and paintings, some of which date back to the American Civil War era and contain some of the most famous historical images of the United States. The archive also contains many photos from Europe and other countries.

Louise Brooks - American dancer, model and actress. She is especially remembered for her leading roles in three films, including two directed by GW Pabst: Pandora's Box, Diary of a Fallen Girl and Prix de Beauté. In total, she starred in seventeen films. She published a memoir, Lulu in Hollywood.
