AJ Alvarez
A. (Alberto) J. Álvarez is a photographer based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but born and raised in Spain. He developed a great interest in photography since his childhood and teenage years, when he took his first photographic images with a very basic analog camera at first.
All his art works are triggered by a deep, humble and genuine curiosity, what he calls his curious eye.
For Alberto, photography is about sharing and inviting.Sharing feelings, places and unrepeatable frozen moments. Inviting others to reflect, to question what they see and to join him in a conversation that was never spoken aloud.
His photography work focuses on the creation of photo series that can present an emotion, a concept, or a pattern, playing with double meanings and seeing further than the photographed subjects.
