The Icelandic mountains may not be the tallest on Planet Earth. But
they are definitely some of the most beautiful, mankind has ever seen.
Even though the summers at these latitudes are mild, the conditions
are tough. Only the most resistant plants can crawl their way up the
mountainsides, giving them their characteristic, greenish colour. The
conditions may be tough indeed, but they make the landscape extremely
