Martin Jørgensen is a Danish artist and illustrator who started his career in the advertising industry as he still is commits himself in. Alongside his art, he illustrates for advertising, books, design and more. His style is quirky and versatile. He works in many styles, but often based on a skewed universe which contributes a lot of personality.

He is inspired by everything from antiquity, art, architecture and his own observations. An image may have a page that you do not fully understand, a page that may contain the viewer's own story. If you do not reveal it all, the work lives longer. In the same way, the pictures must have a positive energy. A naive expression is often one of his widely used grips. Naivety and imperfection are human and shows a depth that many can relate to. In a world where everything has to stand tight, it is a liberation to give let go and make room for the mistakes and the crooked lines.
