"I've always painted and drawn a lot. As a child, it was a hobby I pursued intensely. As an adult, it was put aside for many years. About 4-5 years ago, I picked up the hobby again and started a drawing course at the Denmark School of Arts, as well as online watercolor courses. I quickly discovered a great joy in creating fine, precise pencil lines and then letting go with watercolors. I feel that this style gives the paintings an interesting combination of a calm, controlled expression, while also offering a dynamic play of colors and different directions that bring the paintings to life." – Christina
