Morais Artworks was spontaneously created on Instagram by Michelle Morais in 2019. She is self-taught, paints in acrylics and most often she paints portraits or figure paintings of the female body inspired by different cultures with focus on diversity. Her paintings aim to bring happiness and positivity into everyday life with her paintings full of colors.

The characteristics of the paintings arise from a loose sketch. The sketch forms the base, but the movement in the brushstrokes creates the full and final work. This is what creates her approach to the paintings that are perfectionistic and aesthetic. An expression that gives a beautiful composition to a finished work, which is her definition of fine art and how aesthetics are evoked in her work.
