Mimmiosa
The Mimmiosa universe is illustrated by Sofie Børsting, who has been educated in The Royal Danish Academy, textile design.
Sofie´s aim is to create children's illustrations that radiate a high degree of artistic quality and visual uplift, for the viewer of all ages.
Her own art interests began when looking into the classic illustrated books as a child, and it has, since then, become a dream to create her own illustrated world.
All the images are full of rich details and are hand drawn, in a very slow and thorough process.
Sofie works from her studio, outside of Copenhagen, in multidisciplinary creative field of visual art, illustration and design.
The illustrations have been loved and appreciated for more than a decade by children and adults alike and have been sold in the finest museum and design shops throughout Scandinavia and abroad.
