Mimmiosa is an enchanting universe created by Sofie Børsting, a talented artist and illustrator trained at The Royal Danish Academy in textile design. Sofie’s vision for Mimmiosa is to craft children’s illustrations with a high level of artistic quality and joyful, uplifting visuals that appeal to all ages. Her passion for illustrated art began as a child, inspired by classic storybooks, sparking her dream to develop her own imaginative world.

Each Mimmiosa piece is meticulously hand-drawn, full of intricate details achieved through a slow and thoughtful process, reflecting Sofie’s dedication to artistry. Working from her studio just outside Copenhagen, Sofie explores a multidisciplinary approach to visual art, illustration, and design.

For over a decade, Mimmiosa’s illustrations have been cherished by both children and adults, and they are featured in prestigious museum and design shops across Scandinavia and internationally.
