Ben ist ein in Neuseeland ansässiger Fotograf, Outdoor Instructor und Abenteurer. Mit einem scharfen Auge für die weniger bekannten zieht es ihn an, Gebiete zu erkunden und zu fotografieren, die weit weg von den Touristenpfaden liegen.

Das Aufwachsen in Neuseelands Natur hat ihm eine tiefe Wertschätzung für die Natur gegeben. Das Erkunden und Erleben des neuseeländischen Hinterlandes wuchs schnell zu einem globalen Maßstab. Bens Leidenschaft für die Fotografie entwickelte sich, um Erfahrungen zu sammeln und auszutauschen, die an den wilden und abgelegenen Orten der Erde gesammelt wurden. Die Einzigartigkeit und Zerbrechlichkeit unserer natürlichen Umwelt zu teilen und darüber aufzuklären, ist etwas, das ihm sehr am Herzen liegt..

Ben ist vom Unbekannten angezogen und hat auf der Suche nach Abenteuern zahlreiche Reisen auf den 7 Kontinenten unternommen. Mit dem Fahrrad, Kajak oder zu Fuß hat er immer eine Kamera zur Hand. Jedes Jahr führt ihn Bens Reise in die Arktis, in die Antarktis, nach Neuseeland, Europa und darüber hinaus.

Growing up in New Zealand’s ‘great outdoors’ have given him a deep-seated appreciation for the natural world. Exploring and adventuring in the New Zealand backcountry quickly grew to a global scale. Ben’s passion for photography developed as a way of capturing and sharing experiences gained in earth’s wild and remote places. Sharing and educating on the uniqueness and fragility of our natural environments is a something he holds very dear.

Drawn by the unknown, Ben has travelled extensively throughout the 7 continents in search of adventure. By bike, kayak or foot, he always has a camera close at hand. Each year, Ben’s travels take him to the Arctic, Antarctica, New Zealand, Europe and beyond.
