Nygårds Maria Bengtsson ist eine schwedische Grafikdesignerin und Illustratorin, die in Kopenhagen lebt und arbeitet.
Aufgewachsen in Dalarna, Schweden, einer Region mit Bäumen, Wäldern, Blumen und Kunsthandwerk. Die Natur ist eine unendliche Inspirationsquelle für ihre Arbeit, sowohl in Mustern als auch in Zeichnungen.
Arbeitet in einem Designstudio im Zentrum von Kopenhagen in der Nähe des Botanischen Gartens. 2008 zusammen mit dem Möbeldesigner Thomas Alken das Studio gegründet und heute mit 8 kreativen Designern das Studio geleitet.
Sie wurde an der Konstfack (Universität für Kunst, Handwerk und Design in Stockholm) ausgebildet und hat sowohl in Helsinki als auch in Kopenhagen studiert.
