Water No. 1 was shot at a beach in the city of Rågeleje and is part of a larger series from the area. It expresses the tranquility in that special kind of sunset which illuminates the sky and the sea in such a way that it makes the entire scene melt into one. My inspiration comes from the sea and from the powers it possesses. It is calm, open, and including. I’m drawn to the enthralling minutes where the water and the colors of the sky become one as time slowly passes. The photos have been shot with long exposure time to fully capture my feeling of the elements and their bond.
