Bird of Amber – Square

"This bird did not get the memo about proportions. Wings thrown all the way open, beak pointed at a plant three times its own size, going full amber-orange while everything around it stays sensibly green. No subtlety, no restraint — just a straight shot toward something bigger, laid down in oil pastel thick enough to leave finger marks.

Some days call for a moodboard. This one called for a bird that believes in itself a slightly unreasonable amount.

Painted by Charlotte Hilleke, the artist behind the Danish atelier Form Faktory."
