Subirats was born in Barcelona in 1965. His father was an art lover, so he was surrounded by work from the time that he was very young. He studied art at the Llotja in Barcelona where he excelled at painting. Subirats is greatly inspired by music, movement, and his environment. He mostly exhibits in Catalonia in Spain, but has shown all over the world.
