It all started as a hobby. I was working at a law firm and felt the need for a creative outlet. I began making flowers, mostly using dried ones, which I sold to my mom, my friends, and my neighbors—just for fun and to have something creative to do alongside my job. From the very beginning, I took a lot of pictures of my flowers, and over time, I felt a growing urge to work with them in new and unconventional ways.
I often called my friend, asked her to bring her camera, and grabbed a few buckets of flowers. We would stroll around Copenhagen, finding the right spots to create beautiful setups with flowers, and then take photos of them. That’s how my first-ever "evergreens" came to life.
I draw a lot of inspiration from wandering the streets of Copenhagen. The buildings, the intricate details, sculptures, decorations, colors, people, movement, and the overall atmosphere—all of it speaks to me.
My worst nightmare often involves mice.
