Though born and raised in Copenhagen, Sarah spent many of her
formative years travelling in Central and South America with her
father, who worked as a photographer and filmmaker. During the years
of travelling Sarah grew a strong passion for Latin art and cultural
heritage, and photography alongside art, became her way of expression.
Her work often depicts shapes and geometrics of the natural world and
are often accompanied by writings and messages. After gaining a
Masters degree in Visuel Arts & Communication from the The Royal
Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen 2003, Sarah has run her
successful studio DasRotesRabbit that, alongside her photography
career, embraces visual arts and communication. Sarah continues to
travel with her work and combine both commercial and personal
projects.
