On the Jutland heath just outside Herning is the MCH Arena. This beautiful football stadium houses the pride of the region, FC Midtjylland. The club was founded in 1999, and in the initial years the "wolves" played their home games at the old Ikast Stadium. However, FC Midtjylland quickly managed to become part of the top in Danish football, which created a need for a larger and more modern stadium. This led to the construction of what we today call the MCH Arena, which quickly became a second home for all the Mid Jutland fans. Here they have seen dreams come true in the form of Danish championships and European triumphs. MCH Arena will always be the home ground of the entire region.
