Known as ”Monsieur Chrono” Ole Ritter, a true specialist in time trials, won the most prestige's TT record, riding 48,653 km in one hour on the Cinelli build frame. The record attempt was planned in Mexico a few days before the Olympic game started to get maximum media coverage and take advantage of Mexico City´s thin air at an altitude of more than 2.200 meters above sea level. When we asked Ole Ritter about his tactic, he just answered. "Ride all you can - have faith in yourself."
