German illustrator and textile designer Steffi Bauer creates expressive works shaped by colour, texture and the rhythm of everyday life. Originally from the countryside near Munich and now based in the city, she works fluidly between mediums – chalk, paint and digital drawing – capturing fleeting impressions of tables, gardens and gatherings. “I love colours, and I love using lots of colour in my work,” she says. “They connect to feelings and shapes.”
