Purple Crystal is a rock which was shot on the island of Bornholm. The
photograph is a spinoff of the serie Stone Structure. The inspiration
for the piece came to be through my fascination of structures and
patterns and their ever-changing looks which unfold through a change
of perspective. This series focuses on the surfaces of nature which,
in my opinion, hide many works of art. It was created by exaggerating
and highlighting the various shades found in the rocks. Beauty and art
can be found everywhere as long as you manage to isolate it and make
it come to life.
