Founded in 2001 by Sarah Sanctuary Williams, Das Rotes Rabbit is the creative studio of a Copenhagen-born artist with a global soul. Sarah’s artistic journey began with her father, a photographer and filmmaker, as they traveled across Central and South America. These formative years inspired her deep love for Latin American art, culture, and the natural world—passions that now shape her work in both photography and visual storytelling.

Sarah’s work under the Das Rotes Rabbit name is known for its expressive use of natural forms, geometric elements, and emotional depth. Her pieces often include subtle messages or short writings, blending visual and literary art. Each creation is a tribute to nature’s order and chaos, expressed through minimalistic yet meaningful design.

A Studio Where Art Meets Communication

After completing her Master’s degree in Visual Arts & Communication from The Royal Danish Academy of Arts in 2003, Sarah launched Das Rotes Rabbit as a space where fine art meets narrative communication. Today, the studio produces both commercial and personal projects, maintaining Sarah’s core values: authenticity, storytelling, and visual harmony.
